GDYNIA, POLAND-(6-8-2003) Sailors’ struggle has finished the second day of the regatta Idea Gdynia Sailing Days. It was perfect weather for sailing today. In the morning the wind was blowing 8 – 10 knots. During the races, it was blowing up to 20 knots.
- A strong wind coused more than a dosen false starts and even some capsize – says Andrzej Reyman, the chief of the jury.
290 competitors have entered the regatta so far. However those are not all sailors who are going to take part in the event. It is tomorrow that competitors of 730 class enter the regatta in Gdynia.
